It’s also important to look at the amount of wattage that powers the message board, because the more wattage there is the brighter is usually is.  Check for both of these features before buying a message board.

Arrow Boards Are For Safety

arrow boards, arrowboards, arrow board, arrowboard, traffic message board, traffic message boards, traffic control message boardsYou may not know much about arrow boards, but it is important to know they are there for your safety.  On your commute to work, you may notice big traffic message boards that say “click it or ticket.”  These are actually not arrow boards, although most think they are.

An arrow board is just an arrow that is presented on an LED screen.  There are not words on them at all, all they can show is arrows.  They are usually put on the back of snow plows, a paver etc. to tell people to move to the next lane.

arrow boards, arrow board, traffic message board, traffic message boards, traffic control message board, traffic control message boardsIt may be hard NOT to see arrow boards this summer.  They are on almost every turnpike and highway, warning us that there is construction ahead or that we need to buckle up or we will get a ticket.

Arrow boards are typically used to warn oncoming traffic that there is something they should watch out for.  Like mentioned above, it could be a reminder or it could be about construction, but I have even seen it about oncoming unfortunate weather.

Arrow Board and What They Say

arrow boards, arrow board, traffic message board, traffic message boards, traffic control message boards, arrowboard, arrowboards, arrow boardWhat do arrow boards say?  Well, it depends on the situation.  Actually, that is for message boards, which are commonly called arrow boards as well.  Arrow boards just display arrows letting the traffic know where to go.

You will most likely see arrow boards in your city or on the highway, but typically small towns don’t have enough money or enough of a need to have one.  Try and pay attention to these arrow boards when you see them because they are always helping you out.

Traffic Message Boards – what do they say?

traffic message boards, traffic message board, traffic control message board, traffic control message boards, arrowboards, arrow boards, arrow board, arrowboard, traffic boards, traffic control boards, Traffic message boards have a variety of messages that are displayed on them.  Just when I was on the road a few days ago, I saw a message that said “5/11 – road work – mon-fri – 3am-7am”.  The amount of messages that can be displayed are never ending, but in my experience they typically have to do with construction.

There have been times when I noticed it mentioned that traffic was ahead, or that the weather is expected to get worse, or the road is icy, etc.  The bottom line is, no matter what the message is, you should always pay attention to the message boards.
