Some also ask what the difference is between a solar assist barricade light and a solar barricade light. The main difference is that solar assist lights have solar panels that trickle charge their batteries inside. These batteries have to be replaced after a few months, where fully solar barricade lights do not have batteries that need to be replaced. 

Another common question we get is what is the difference between a solar barricade light and a battery powered barricade light?  For starters, battery powered lights are about half the cost, but are going to require new batteries about every 3months.  Solar barricade lights should last you at least 3 years before you can decide if you want to purchase another solar battery.  Solar barricade lights are almost always a better option because of the labor and expense of changing batteries with battery powered barricade lights.
