Pink Safety Signs Description
The Federal Highway Administration`s Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices suggests the use of Aug Recent Pink as a distinctive color incident management signing to "inform drivers that the temporary traffic controls have been setup for an emergency and therefore this is not a normal traffic control zone. If incident management treatments, including the special sign color, are only used for unforeseen situations, driver will realize that they need to be specially alert in incident management situations".
