Frequently Asked Questions
What does Type 1 mean?
Type 1 means sheeting is on the top only of both sides of the barricade. A Type 2 unit would have sheeting on the top and bottom panels of both sides of the barricade.
I don’t understand the numbers listed before the sheeting…
12/6x24” means the sheeting on the top is 12x24”, and the sheeting/board size on the bottom is 6x24”.
What are the levels of reflectivity?
Engineer Grade is the lowest, Hi Intensity is the next one up and Diamond Grade is the most reflective. For many applications Engineer Grade will work just fine.
Can you mount a barricade light on this?
Yes, as you can see in the picture the light slides up against the top of the barricade and a bolt can be threaded through that ‘A’ that the two legs make at the top.
What exactly do 14 or 12 Gauge legs mean?
Gauge refers to the thickness of the legs. A 12 gauge leg is thicker and therefore sturdier than a 14 gauge leg. For most applications a 14 gauge leg will work just fine.
How much does it cost to ship these?
Shipping requires a custom freight quote because these are typically shipped by freight carriers – not your standard UPS or Fed Ex delivery. Please contact us for shipping.
