Solar-Assist Power
This Message Board is battery powered, which are constantly re-energized by solar panels for long lasting use. Solar power means the unit doesn't require diesel fuel, there is no fuel cost, noise, pollution, engine maintenance, exhaust or caustic pavement erosion.

LED Lamp Matrix Design
This Message Board has a solid state LED lamp matrix with optical technology that is patented. Traffic conditions are then in turn safer because of the increased legibility in the message.

System Integrity
Solar powered units require that the load (or power used) is upheld by an adequate energy storage facility (or battery bank) and solar panels (generator). The Solar Message Center can go 30 days operating without sunlight from the battery bank and only requires 2-1/2 hours of premium sunlight per each additional day of use. These parameters reflect prolonged operation without any interruption and under normal weather.

Environmentally Sound Operation
The Solar Message Center eliminates any potential of environmental contamination because the sun is used as the generator.

Modular Electronic Components
The operator was in mind during the development of this system. We dramatically reduced downtime and maintenance costs because modules are easy to replace.

Superior Truncated Panel Design
We reduced sunlight glare and headlight glare by changing the message panel shape. A more defined message to the public is obtained because of this new shape.

Precision Solar Controls came up with a user-friendly dedicated computer design by reducing the number of keys required to program the Message Center. NTCIP compliant functionality provided by the unit.
