Type 3 Barricades – Paper or Plastic?
Monday, May 10, 2010 By: Transportation Supply

Well, I don’t mean literally paper or plastic, more like plywood or plastic. Plywood type 3 barricades are generally cheaper than plastic barricades, but it may depend on the dealer. The typical price difference (if there is one) is probably around $5 per barricade more for plastic barricades.
Plastic type III barricades are more popular, most likely because shipping them is a lot cheaper (plywood weighs more than plastic). Also, since they weigh less they are easier to move around so managing them on the job site has to be a lot easier.
