What are Airport Barricades?
Monday, October 29, 2012 By: admin
What are those orange/white 10 x 96″ barricades that commonly line runways when they are under construction? Those are called airport barricades and they are used almost exclusively for airport construction. They help warn airport employees about construction and have reflective tape to make them easier to be seen.
Almost every time an airport barricade is needed, it also needs to have one or two airport lights mounted on top (screwed in, typically) as well as a flag mounted to it. If interested in learning more, follow our blog as we will continue to post about airport products.
