Traffic Drums Online
If you are searching for traffic drums online, I would suggest going to as many sites as possible. The search engines are designed to keep the most ‘relevant’ info up front, but that may not mean the cheapest. Try doing some digging.
I have found great websites past the 10 page mark for certain terms that have better prices that the top guys. This may not always be the case, but always do a thorough search before buying.
Solar Barricade Lights Come in What Colors?
If you are wondering what colors solar barricade lights come in, you have stumbled upon the correct blog post. The most common color without a doubt is yellow/amber, but there are a few other colors as well. You may find red on an airport, because that is the standard color for airports.
You may find blue on a railroad, because they are what is required for railroads. Besides that, I do not know of many other colors, but I am sure they exist!
Type 3 Barricades Replacing Drums?
Driving this past weekend I noticed that there was an immense amount of type 3 barricades. They seemed to be everywhere, in front of arrow boards, next to traffic message boards, and just along the road next to a construction project.
I noticed that a lot of times the type 3 barricades were in spots where the traffic drums usually were. I am not sure if this is a new trend or if it makes it safer?
Solar Barricade Lights OTR
OTR = On The Road, because this past weekend I saw way too many solar barricade lights. Next to type 3 barricades, or mounted on to traffic barrels, they were everywhere.
Because I am in the traffic safety industry, I understand how much these items cost, and I am always shocked by the amount of money spent. The government must invest millions in some of these projects.
What not to know about Type 3 Barricades
The title may be confusing, but that was on purpose. There isn’t anything not to know about type 3 barricades, we should really know everything we can about them because they are on our streets protecting our citizens.
The amount of construction I have seen on the road lately is immense. Whether the jump is because of the American Recovery Project of 2009 or not, I am not sure. The one thing I know is I have never seen so many type 3 barricades.
